I was at work when I saw the email I was invited to be a contestant, and I was freaking out! I had to internally scream, because no one at work knew I had auditioned! 😂 I waited until I got home to tell my husband in person, and we audibly freaked out together!! We were SO excited! 🥳

I've had the "Wheel of Fortune" Game app forever, so I just added more playing time to practice. Plus, I never miss an episode (I record it, too!), so I'm always practicing.

This experience was incredible! Everyone at "Wheel of Fortune" was SO nice and helpful. I was amazed at how welcoming and encouraging everyone was! And the contestants - oh my gosh, we had fun! We bonded and had such a great time together! The "behind the scenes" experience was so cool. To see how it all works and the many talented people who make the "magic" happen was unforgettable. I was surprised the puzzle for the prize puzzle had nothing to do with the trip! Typically, the puzzle leans you toward the trip. But not this one! Honestly, I forgot it was the prize puzzle while working it out! 😅 The movie quote puzzle also stumped me for a while! I am a person who quotes movies all the time, but I haven't seen the "Barbie Movie," so calling a "B" was key! But finally, the WILD card SAVED me for the Bonus Round! 🙌

We are having a big "watch party" with my family when my episode airs. I am nervous and excited to watch! It's going to be so surreal! Being on "Wheel of Fortune" is everything! I've watched it faithfully since I was a child, and it is our family "dinner theater" to this day! For years, my husband and kids have told me I should audition. I don't know why I waited so long (I actually sent it in a year and a half before I got my first virtual audition!), but clearly, this was my time! Meeting Pat and Vanna (who are so wonderful) was literally a dream come true. And having Pat joke and "sing" with me are memories to last a lifetime! I'm so grateful I made it for Pat's last season!👏😊 Jim and Maggie were just as fantastic and fun as I had hoped!

This experience was more amazing than I could have ever imagined. Thank you "Wheel" family! 💜
