______
When I found out I had made the show, I got this feeling of nervous excitement. I had to step back from my computer and adjust my glasses to be sure I was reading correctly, and once I saw that, yeah, I was going to be on Wheel of Fortune, I immediately began calling everyone I could to share the good news.
How did you prepare for being on the show?
I had the app on my phone, so I began practicing almost immediately. But I noticed that I started to feel really anxious whenever I couldn’t figure out a puzzle, and I had to stop playing. I was worried I was going to flop!
What did you learn from your experience?
Throughout all of this I learned to just have fun. This was a once in a lifetime opportunity, and I wasn’t going to allow any nervousness I was feeling to ruin it. I concluded that, regardless of the outcome, I was gonna have a good time!!
How will you include your friends and family when your show airs?
I plan to have a city-wide watch party! I’m gonna be stopping people on the streets encouraging them to tune in.
What does Wheel mean to you?
For me, Wheel of Fortune is a family tradition. It is one of the after-dinner, sit-down-with-the-family type shows that allow us to engage in friendly competition and catch up on each other’s day during commercials.
