When I found out that I was going to be on Wheel of Fortune, it was so unreal. I kept asking myself is this real life? 😉 All my practicing since I applied had to kick it into high gear. I watch Wheel daily, and would practice like I was on the show. When I finally arrived on the set, I was like a little kid. I couldn’t believe that I was so lucky to have been chosen to play my favorite game. Prior to the taping, the staff walks you through how it will work step-by-step. We rehearsed how to spin the Wheel, how Pat would have a quick chat with us, etc. I was show number one of the day! I walked up to the set, they adjusted it for my height and I was ready to go! I did solve some of the puzzles, and was stumped on a few. I cheered my fellow veterans and contestants on when they won and when they didn’t. My husband and family have been so supportive through each step.
The Wheel of Fortune experience was something out of a dream. I enjoyed every single second there! The staff behind the scenes were the utmost professionals and helped me through each step. They were all amazing. 🥹 Thank you! I am so grateful and proud to have been chosen to be on the show, especially being a Veteran! I would do again in a second! Thank you everyone from Wheel of Fortune for making an unattainable dream come true!!
