______
Having the opportunity to be a contestant on Wheel of Fortune was truly the opportunity of a lifetime, and it DEFINITELY did not disappoint. Everything about the experience was truly exceptional. The attentiveness and engagement of the crew, the other show participants, and everyone at Sony Picture Studios made this such an enjoyable experience.
When I found out that I made the show, I was absolutely overcome with joy. My daughter commented on my facial expression as I read the email, saying that "Daddy, I don't know if I've ever seen you smile that big." My wife had been telling me to apply for YEARS, and I finally did it. She'd told me before that she had a dream of me spinning the wheel, and that email was just the confirmation.
What Wheel means to me is a lifetime of family memories, and shared experiences. Throughout my childhood, my family was filled with avid Wheel watchers. We would often sit around together and compete with each other to see who could solve the puzzles the fastest. Even after I grew older, my mother would still call me to see if I could solve the puzzle on the episode that she was watching. Once I started my own family, my wife and I continued the tradition of Wheel fun. So, being a contestant on Wheel of Fortune is truly a shared joy for my entire family. When the show airs, my family will be hosting a "Wheel Night", where we invite all of our local family and friends, and treat it much like we would a holiday lol. We truly want to share this experience with all of those closest to us, and this is the best way for us to do it.
