This was truly the experience of a lifetime! I applied in June of 2022 while watching Wheel of Fortune with my grandma. I had not heard anything until June of 2023 when I had the opportunity to audition. Just the audition process was an honor to be a part of. Then, a few months later, I received that golden email! I had to be at work at 4 in the morning but I couldn’t contain my excitement. I was over the moon because this had been a lifelong dream of mine to be on a game show!

The whole day was a blur but also the most enjoyable day I had. Getting to see the stage, meeting Vanna and her giving words of encouragement, spinning the Wheel for the first time - it was all so surreal. Once the show had started, I was ready to have fun. My fellow contestants have now become lifelong friends. My brother and sister-in-law were in the audience and told me that they have never been more stressed watching me try to solve puzzles!

I learned a lot about myself in this show. I knew how to play a good game while also enjoying myself. I also learned that the contestants who have been on this show are all incredible people. Truly so kind and caring and all doing amazing things in life. I am forever grateful for this opportunity. I had a watch party with my friends at my apartment and FaceTimed my parents on the West coast. Thank you Wheel of Fortune for everything!
