First off let me say a big THANK YOU to everyone at Wheel of Fortune for not only choosing me to be a contestant on the show, but for the great time and experience I had!  My hubby and I have been big fans of the show forever and it was an honor and a privilege to be chosen as a contestant.

How did I become a contestant you ask?  Well, it all starts with a long standing rivalry between my handsome husband and I.   My hubby, Mase, is and has always...

My heart raced and I could feel my face turn red as we started the first toss up. As the game progressed my nerves slowly went away. I was bummed not to have solved the first two puzzles and to have hit bankrupt with a good chunk of money already earned. Between each commercial break we had our hair and make-up checked and we were each given water to drink, plus lots of encouragement which helped so much! My luck with the Wheel wasn't the greatest as the game continued on. I didn't solve...

My name is Bethany L.  and I have always wanted to be on Wheel of Fortune. I applied online multiple times. I received an email that I could try out with a friend and chose to bring my best friend Breana C. When we found out we would be on the show we immediately searched and booked a flight and decided how many days we could stay.

We invited our close family and spouses to fly out with us. We looked over the categories and watched many...

Where to begin? It was the best of times, it was the….Hello. My name is Seth Neidhardt and I am from Staples, Minnesota. I have always loved games of all sorts, but word games such as Hangman, Scrabble, Upwards, and crossword puzzles have always ranked highest on my list. Growing up, there was no network dedicated to game shows and most aired during the day when I was at school. However, Wheel of Fortune was on TV at night and I loved watching it with my family. Even as I have grown...

Our adventure with Wheel for Fortune started with a dream.  Last year my husband took me to Disney World for our 40th wedding anniversary and we had such a magically wonderful experience.  I watched all the families with their children and grandchildren and dreamed of the day we could return with all of ours.  I came home to go over the budget and realized it would require some serious planning.

    While watching our...

Here's what I can tell you about being a Wheel of Fortune contestant:

    1. The wheel really is as heavy as it looks- maybe heavier.

    2. Pat and Vanna are as nice as I always thought they seemed.

    3. It's hard to see the other contestants as your competition when you've spent an entire day joking around with them at the studio.

    4. I honestly couldn't tell you everything that happened when I taped my episode. It is a complete...

I have always been an avid wheel watcher from the time of its debut about thirty years or so, I remember watching during the years when cash was won there would be prizes in the studio to choose from and the balance would be placed on a gift certificate. One of my favorite hobbies is solving puzzles and unscrambling jumbles so when the game show came to television it was a natural that I would be a fan.

In April of 2013, I received...

I moved to the Baltimore, MD when I was 6-years-old. I started watching the Wheel of Fortune around age 8. The normal routine would be: come home from school, eat dinner and meet my family in the living room to watch Wheel. My parents and I used to compete to see who could solve the puzzles first, the loser had to do the dishes. ;) The older I got, it seemed the better I played, plus I didn’t have to do dishes so much!

I have been a Wheel of Fortune fan since BP&V (before Pat and Vanna), all the way back to the original version hosted by Chuck Woolery.  My family and I were living in Southern California when Pat and Vanna became the host and hostess ... and I remember watching Pat do the weather on a local news broadcast before he moved to Wheel.

We moved to Marin County, north of San Francisco, in 1985.  One day in the late 80's or early 90's, I was coming down the...

My wife and son and I watch Wheel of Fortune every night.  It has been an integral part of my child’s upbringing, as it has helped him with his spelling and pronunciation of certain words and phrases.  Ever since he was diagnosed with Autism at 2 ½ years old, we have used any and all tools at our disposal to help him learn to speak and write.  Wheel of Fortune has really been a fun way for him to learn without it feeling like he was at...
